USEFILL LINKSWorker Screening & Training RequirementsTo help you get up and going with Full Circle Projects (FCP), here are some useful links and important information to guide you through the steps of joining our team.
To work in the NDIS sector in Queensland, all workers are required to hold a current NDIS QLD Disability Worker Screening Check. This check combines a Blue Card, Yellow Card, and Police Check into one comprehensive clearance and includes ongoing national criminal history monitoring to ensure the safety and wellbeing of participants.
- The Disability Worker Screening Card is valid for five (5) years.
- If you already hold a valid Yellow Card or Yellow Card Exemption, you do not need to apply for a Disability Worker Screening Check immediately. You can continue to use your existing card until it expires, is suspended, or cancelled.
Applications and payment for the Disability Worker Screening Check can be submitted directly through the Queensland Government website by clicking
hereIn addition to the screening check, all support workers must also complete the following mandatory training:
- ✅ NDIS Worker Orientation Module – an online module that introduces you to the principles, values, and responsibilities of working in the NDIS sector.
- ✅ Supporting People to Stay Infection Free – a short online course focused on infection prevention and control when working with participants.
Both of these training modules are free and can be completed online by clicking
